Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, real-time tutoring is provided strictly online through video conference. Please contact the Writing Center if you would like face-to-face sessions.
The tutoring program does not provide proofreading services. The Writing Center provides advice and consultations focusing on the overall content structure of the manuscript, logical flow, and correcting frequent grammatical errors. However, it is the discretion of the professor to provide consultations focusing on suggesting or making revisions regarding repetitive grammatical errors or awkward expressions found throughout the manuscript.
Undergraduate students can get consultations on any manuscripts related to presentations and writing (book reviews, research reports, reviews, journal articles, essays, presentations, etc.). Graduate students can get consultations on any seminar presentation materials (PPT, script, etc.) and academic manuscripts (degree dissertation abstracts, journal articles, etc.). Please contact the Writing Center for consultation requests on manuscripts other than those listed above.
